By burying and unearthing the sculpture repeatedly over the last year, I metaphorically mirror the introspective work I undertake on myself.
The choice of a clown figure in this artwork holds deep meaning. Clowns carry a rich and complex symbolism within our society, evoking positive and negative associations. They embody a captivating paradox that seamlessly intertwines joy and sorrow. The clown is a powerful representation of my own efforts to create a delicate balance between happiness and sadness.
